Hah! You got the Exo/Assassins posted on my birthday! Which was when mine were sent from Japan! Which I just got today! Which I will open tonight! And I am excited right now! You probably can tell somehow! Hi Bry! Notwithstanding the recent heated arguments at the embassy, I really love these new Micros. Ok, that's OT, let's not go there. This set is absolutely lovely! I love the detailing and the "stealthy look of the armor on the 2 male Micro assassins! Now that I think of it, they'd look really good in that appropriated GI Joe Rhino! hahahahaha! As for the Acroyear Xado, I love the paintjob on Hidou! By the way, I was reading through Paul's story translations on Microforever. If you get more info regarding how the Assassins vs. Xado story progresses, let me know. Cheers, Garvy

I got the AF/XADO set recently too, and I absolutely LOVE them. Hidou's just wonderfully evil looking (though I did have to glue his "Micro" face together, as it kept coming apart). I didn't think I'd like Muzan from the pictures, but put together and with that huge polearm of his, he looks great! Kyoushiro's weapon is kind of goofy in the pictures, but again, in person, pretty cool. And Shouma totally rocks, if you'll forgive the pun. Maybe it's just that I've been playing an awful lot of Guitar Hero, but it's really cool having a Micro that can rock out with me. The girls are pretty, but I wish Setsuna's armor wasn't quite so inconvenient, and while I really like Yume's armor, I don't really care for her accessories. Anyway, here's some pics of my MicroShelf:

Hey Garvy, More great pics as always =).
Ayakoholic, are the various Kamen Riders custom Microman figures, or something else? They look great with your Micromen.

Thanks, domu! Those Kamen Riders are the Souchaku Henshin figures-- in that back tier, they end up looking pretty closely proportioned to the Micromen.

Ayakoholic, You've got quite a collection of Micromen going! You may want to consider beginning a Microman thread too since it looks like you enjoy keeping your Microman figures in action poses! It could serve to be a good showcase, eh? Cheers, Garvy

Again, here are some more mix and match pictures. The newer Takara Microman toys have been scarce around my parts so I've resorted to appropriating vehicles for the Microman 99 line. GI Joe Sigma 6: Firebat Jet (loose - VTOL configuration)GI Joe Sigma 6: Firebat Jet (loose - Attack Jet configuration)Both the magnemicroman and LED microman DON'T FIT into the pilot seat, mainly because their shoulders are too broad. Based on some pics I've seen on the net, the Firebat can be modified and the plastic in the cockpit filed down to eventually fit the figure. The other option (at least for the LED Micromen) is to file the shoulder pads such that they're better tapered and not sticking out. This, of course, should be done as a LAST resort, unless you've got a lot of spares lying around. Here is something that I chanced upon over the weekend: The Halo Light Reconnaissance Vehicle aka Warthog by RC2 Toys I was actually drawn to the Warthog by the two mini figures (not pictured here) that came with it. They looked to be the same size (and I happily discovered that they are!) as the GI Joe Sigma 6 mini figures. Having had good experiences mixing and matching Sigma 6 vehicles with my 3+ inch Microman figures, I decided to take the risk. Ultimately, as you can see above, it paid off! This baby actually looks great alongside the Sigma 6 Night Ops Vamp! Being a reconnaissance vehicle, its perfect for quick in and out scouting missions, whereas the Vamp (multi-purpose attack vehicle), being larger and more heavily armored can take on different mission profiles. As such, you may want to consider these to add to Microman forces!

That is a really great idea! Nice shots! Thanks! Ever since Takara revived the Microman franchise, I've never been completely satisfied with the vehicles Takara has put out. Seeing the need for a diverse line of vehicles, it forces collectors like myself to be a bit more creative in the mixing-matching arena. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention! Cheers, Garvy

Another great update. The Sigma Six vehicles are nice, but I wish that they were regular Microman scale. I still may break down and get the awesome Dragonhawk =)
I've got a couple of Halo Ghosts that make good rides for even the new Microman.
Thanks for sharing!

I usually use the standard Joe vehicles for the new/regular Microman scale. I purchased the Rhino and ROCC, specifically for that purpose. The one Halo vehicle I'd like to try out is the Spectre but unfortunately, its not available here....

I picked up a Spectre for cheap when BBTS had a sale a few months back. The cockpit and gunner positions are slightly too small, but still fit the new Microman figures well. I'm looking to clear out some stuff and would be happy to let you have it if you wanted to pay shipping to wherever you're at from Las Vegas.

I'll have to politely decline as the finances are a bit stretched right now. I do have a request. Can you send me pics of the Spectre with the Microman figures inside? I'd like to get a better idea of the cockpit size so I have some form of visual reference. Thanks! Garvy

You're on the Micropolis Embassy, right? Too tired to take pics now, but I'll take some pics tomorrow and post there if you like. (To my shame, I've never gotten around to figuring out how to post pictures here yet.)
