I have a digital camera, a lazy cat, and a warped sense of humor. YEEHAW! That's obviously the rare Micronaut Aliens vehicle, Felinurion.

Again, here are some more mix and match pictures. The newer Takara Microman toys have been scarce around my parts so I've resorted to appropriating vehicles for the Microman 99 line. GI Joe Sigma 6: Firebat Jet (loose - VTOL configuration)GI Joe Sigma 6: Firebat Jet (loose - Attack Jet configuration)Both the magnemicroman and LED microman DON'T FIT into the pilot seat, mainly because their shoulders are too broad. Based on some pics I've seen on the net, the Firebat can be modified and the plastic in the cockpit filed down to eventually fit the figure. The other option (at least for the LED Micromen) is to file the shoulder pads such that they're better tapered and not sticking out. This, of course, should be done as a LAST resort, unless you've got a lot of spares lying around. Here is something that I chanced upon over the weekend: The Halo Light Reconnaissance Vehicle aka Warthog by RC2 Toys I was actually drawn to the Warthog by the two mini figures (not pictured here) that came with it. They looked to be the same size (and I happily discovered that they are!) as the GI Joe Sigma 6 mini figures. Having had good experiences mixing and matching Sigma 6 vehicles with my 3+ inch Microman figures, I decided to take the risk. Ultimately, as you can see above, it paid off! This baby actually looks great alongside the Sigma 6 Night Ops Vamp! Being a reconnaissance vehicle, its perfect for quick in and out scouting missions, whereas the Vamp (multi-purpose attack vehicle), being larger and more heavily armored can take on different mission profiles. As such, you may want to consider these to add to Microman forces! Looks better than I expected. Are there any interesting gimmicks on the Firebat? I bet the sisters and hoodmen will seat it just fine, as they do in the 'hawk. I'd looked at the Warthog earlier with this in mind, but thought it'd be too small, lol.

Hi Bry, If anything, the start of my mixing and matching was inspired by you from pics on your website, so for that, thanks! Gimmicks on the firebat? Well apart from the swiveling wings that simulate VTOL and flight configurations, the front fuselage detaches from the main body like an escape pod of sorts. The gimmicks are fairly simple. The LED Microman is actually an impossible fit, unless one "shaves" the inner cockpit or "trims" the shoulder pads on the LED Microman. Not exactly an easy thing to do, eh? The sisters and the Hoodmen should fit very well. As for the Warthog, it is a very tight fit to say the least. The legspace is cramped but workable. The head of both the Magnemicroman and the Led Microman are slightly wedged against the rollbar, but the final results look quite good as you can see in the pics. I hope the info helps. Cheers, Garvy

I got a tip on some toys that I've been looking for since earlier this year. Here they are, the 1/18 scale Happywell toys Roadbots!Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII (boxed)Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII - Robot mode (loose)Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII- vehicle mode (loose) - darn that's a cool looking car!Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII- vehicle mode (loose) - woohoo! a 1/18 scale Microman can actually fit! Its a tight fit, but a fit nonethelessToyota Celica (boxed)Toyota Celica - robot mode (loose)Toyota Celica - vehicle mode (loose) - the 1/18 microman will still fit but his legs have to be folded as there is no legroom for his right leg, so I had to tuck it under his left leg (de quattro). Also, the headroom is also low so he has to be slouching more in the bucket seat. Lastly, I noted that the seat is a bit far from the steering wheel, so the arms of a 1/18 scale Microman have to virtually be fully extended to reach the wheel. As such, trying to fit a smaller scale figure would be possible but the hands may not reach the steering wheel.Toyota Supra (boxed)Toyota Supra - robot mode (loose)Toyota Supra - vehicle mode (loose) - the 1/18 microman will still fit but his legs have to be folded as there is no legroom for his left leg, so I had to tuck it under his right leg (de quattro). Just as a quick roundup, these toys aren't diecast. Because of its plastic construction, one should be careful when transforming these babies. Admittedly, I haven't really been into TFs in so many years, so I had a hard time transforming them. But that's me. For all I know, other TF collectors may not even have to read the manual to transform them! ;D The robot modes weren't really impressive to me, but the vehicle modes are quite awesome! I only wish they had the MR2! Unfortunately, that wasn't in stock! Grrrrr........ Cheers, Garvy

Yeah, I got those four, Garvy. Be VERY careful when you start messing around with them-- the head on my Eriss was on so tight that her neck snapped off at the base when I tried to turn it! Great looking sculpts all around, though.

Same thing there. But I must admit I was a bit disapointed by Acrospiria. I would have loved she got totally "chromed" instread of this metal silver colour. Anyway... But for the three other figures : THEY ROCK !

On the plus side, major ups to HLJ for sending me a replacement figure when I contacted them about it. It really is my favorite online hobby/toy shop...

Here's some stuff I got over the weekend! GI Joe Sigma 6: Winged Fury (boxed)GI Joe Sigma 6: Winged Fury (loose)Ok, my personal story on the Winged Fury is a bit funny. The whole reason why I got into the Sigma 6 2.5 line was due to its mix and match possibilities with 3 inch Micromen. The previously released DragonHawk and Night Ops Vamp proved to be fairly good matches, a bit of a tight fit on the Vamp, but a fit all the same. Of this new line pictured here, my first priority was the Winged Fury! I was so excited that I actually got two of these! Lo and behold, when I opened it, fitting a 3-inch Microman inside the crew compartment was IMPOSSIBLE! The crew compartment is built for two Sigma 6 2.5 inch figures. Annoyed and challenged by this problem, I took one of the two Winged Furies I bought and decided to be adventurous. I took the vehicle apart to check if I could customize it to at least become a single seater attack copter for a 3-inch Microman. Ultimately, I ended up severing the backrest portion of the front pilot seat. I left the remaining stump in place. I then severed the rear pilot's control stick from the rear of the pilot seat, then superglued the backrest to the rear part of crew compartment. Thankfully, this experiment worked and what you see in the pic above is the result. Its very crude work but it worked! For now, I'll leave the other Winged Fury alone! Hahahahaha! Also, just a note, this copter is essentially a shrunk down version of the Rhino copter that was done for the 3 3/4 inch Joes. I found that the gun attachments are, again, shrunk down versions of what one would find on the Rhino. So, I can only hope that Hasbro will eventually manufacture the Rhino in the 2.5 inch scale. Ironically, when I check the mall Friday, the Iron Hammer wasn't on the shelves. Then, when I checked again yesterday to buy an extra Winged Fury, there it was and I just picked it up on impulse! This mech is very cool! It has other attachments apart from what is pictured here so the attachments can be changed depending on the mission profile. Its also quite a sight to see the DragonHawk hauling the Iron Hammer into play! I also got this for use with the Micromen. There isn't enough legroom so if one takes a look at the picture above closely, you'll see that the Microman has his feet on the dashboard.

the helicopter is ugly, BUT the Iron Hammer is very cool! thanx for the 411! Ugly? Hmmm....well, it probably could've been designed better, with softer angles, looking like a stealth heli, but I like it. Its got a single man gunship thing going. Ultimately, I guess its a matter of personal taste. As for the Iron Hammer, yup, definitely cool in my book. I'll try seeing if I can "dremel" a portion of the dashboard so that there will be more legroom. Let's see how that turns out. Thanks too for the inputs!

Nope. Your first post, pics 5 and 6 show two boxes standing vertically with"ZERO ONE" printed on them. Pink chick with wings is standing on one in pic6. They look like VHS tapes, but I guess not, since you're unsure of what I'm referring to.
Zero One was /is a professional wrestling ("puroresu") company in Japan, started by the legendary, late Shinya Hashimoto. A lot of rising American stars have had tours with them. I'm sorry that this is OT, but in addittion to being a toy geek and a robot geek, I'm also a pro-wrestling geek, with a pretty good Tiger Mask collection.
Regardless, that's a great collection. And I love the fact that your toys "cross-over' from other lines to join your micro-force. Makes me consider getting some micros.

hey, i finally got the FIREBAT JET for 2.5 Sigma Six figs....it's only $10 at Target...it is HUGE!!! it is so much bigger than the box!!! i can't believe it could fit in the box. i mean seriously, this defies geometry. from the pic on the box, i thot it was about 70% of it's actual size. but it is HUGE! and that is a good thing, i am just AMAZED! and it is VERY detailed, and VERY COOL and VERY SOLID!!! i am talking about the one u suggested: i mean, i thot...it looks cool...i dunno... if i saw it in real life, i would have bought it at $15, i just thot it would be small and plain. but no! it is nice! VERY NICE!!

Sigma 6 HISS works with 3 3/4"! www.joecustoms.com/board/showthread.php?tid=41538I may have to pick this up with the Iron Hammer mech...a HISS scout vehicle would be sweet. UPDATE: Okay, I picked up them both tonight (and by coincidence, the HISS I ordered that this one was modeled on came in the mail, too). He's REALLY cheating that figure into that front cockpit. I put a Microsister in there and she barely fits comfortably. Still, looking at the construction, I bet it would be easy to mod it for more legroom. I do like the way the back is removable, making it into a flatbed transporter. It looks like a kind of updated Climb Leader that way, and has a lot of promise for customizing or multi-purposing. Similarly true on the legroom for the Iron Hammer, it looks like you could take it apart and mod the dash for more legroom. That said, I was able to squeeze Microsister Ran into it thanks to her nimble ankles. One thing I did "change" on Hammer was I rotated the legs 180 degrees so it has the nice reverse knee joint I'd expect on a more stable walker design. It looks pretty good that way, IMHO. Pics will come later on the blog of course. EDIT #2: Further inspection (and rereading his post) reveals that he removed the seat from the HISS to open up more space in the cockpit. I tried this out on the HISS and the Hammer and yeah, you could fit regular figures in either that way, and the Hammer has a LOT of leftover space that you could put a new seat and details into. I'm leaving them as is for now though as they make good rides for the sisters. You could actually make a cool Mini-Terraphant update out of the new HISS, for that matter. The back hatch actually would also make a good ear flap, in fact. I could also see using the cockpit module for other customs, including a redux of Taurion, lol. --Bry
