Sigma 6 HISS works with 3 3/4"!www.joecustoms.com/board/showthread.php?tid=41538
I may have to pick this up with the Iron Hammer mech...a HISS scout vehicle would be sweet.
UPDATE:
Okay, I picked up them both tonight (and by coincidence, the HISS I ordered that this one was modeled on came in the mail, too). He's REALLY cheating that figure into that front cockpit. I put a Microsister in there and she barely fits comfortably. Still, looking at the construction, I bet it would be easy to mod it for more legroom.
I do like the way the back is removable, making it into a flatbed transporter. It looks like a kind of updated Climb Leader that way, and has a lot of promise for customizing or multi-purposing.
Similarly true on the legroom for the Iron Hammer, it looks like you could take it apart and mod the dash for more legroom. That said, I was able to squeeze Microsister Ran into it thanks to her nimble ankles. One thing I did "change" on Hammer was I rotated the legs 180 degrees so it has the nice reverse knee joint I'd expect on a more stable walker design. It looks pretty good that way, IMHO.
Pics will come later on the blog of course.
EDIT #2:
Further inspection (and rereading his post) reveals that he removed the seat from the HISS to open up more space in the cockpit. I tried this out on the HISS and the Hammer and yeah, you could fit regular figures in either that way, and the Hammer has a LOT of leftover space that you could put a new seat and details into. I'm leaving them as is for now though as they make good rides for the sisters.
You could actually make a cool Mini-Terraphant update out of the new HISS, for that matter. The back hatch actually would also make a good ear flap, in fact. I could also see using the cockpit module for other customs, including a redux of Taurion, lol.

Hi Bry,
Looks like a lot of good ideas there! Can't wait to see some of those materialize and put in your blog!
Cheers,
